Summary

Build the Infrastructure That Powers Modern Technology

We are seeking motivated and hardworking Commercial Cabling Technicians to join a growing team supporting data center and commercial infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with commercial cabling experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and want to expand their skills in structured cabling, fiber optics, and network infrastructure installations.
You'll work both inside and outside facilities, helping build and support critical data center environments while collaborating with experienced industry professionals.

What You'll Do

  • Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling
  • Install cable tray, wireway, bus duct, conduit, and related infrastructure
  • Build and outfit telecommunications and network closets
  • Mount and install backboards, racks, patch panels, cross-connects, and other hardware
  • Terminate and test Cat6 cabling and network connections
  • Complete IDC terminations, including 110 and 66 blocks
  • Install grounding systems for racks, equipment, and cabling
  • Assist with fiber optic installations and connectivity projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation
  • Install switches, receptacles, and other network-related devices
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards on job sites

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of commercial cabling experience
  • Experience pulling and handling fiber optic cable
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documentation
  • Knowledge of universal communications color codes
  • Ability to safely operate industry-standard tools and equipment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a physically demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with network equipment installations
  • Cat6 termination experience
  • Fiber optic termination and testing knowledge
  • Data center construction or build-out experience
  • Experience installing cable tray and conduit systems

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment
  • Comfortable standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working on active construction sites
  • Ability to use two-handed tools and equipment throughout the workday

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
