Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Senior Analyst - Oracle Global Data Warehouse to support and enhance a critical enterprise data platform used for financial and operational reporting. This is a hands-on technical and leadership role requiring strong SQL and data warehousing experience, with the ability to coordinate offshore teams and work directly with business stakeholders.
Work Environment
This position follows a hybrid model, with on-site work required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Fridays are remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for the Oracle enterprise data warehouse, including issue resolution and performance tuning.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Support and improve ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Lead and coordinate offshore support teams.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Support enhancements, upgrades, and new data integrations.
- Analyze data flows from source systems to reporting tools.
- Drive process improvements and identify automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write or enhance complex queries from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS.
- Proven ability to own systems and issues end-to-end.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, leadership skills, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle technologies such as Oracle EBS (R12/12.2), Oracle 19c, and PL/SQL.
- Experience supporting enterprise data warehouses.
- Knowledge of finance processes including P2P, O2C, and Accounting.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
- Familiarity with Linux and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, ETL tools and processes, and data security.
