Business Analyst

• Analyze business processes and conduct needs assessments to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
  
• Implement process reengineering using industry-accepted practices.
  
• Develop clear business requirements, use cases, and test scripts.
  
• Partner with programmers to identify user needs and adapt user procedures to final program designs.
  
• Organize and facilitate application and user acceptance testing to confirm that business needs are met.
  
• Provide second- and third-level support for production incidents across multiple applications.
  
• Coordinate troubleshooting with internal teams and external vendors, and drive reported issues to closure.
  
• Support multiple projects and internal initiatives, including upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements.
  
• Use county-wide and department-specific software to complete assignments.
  

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant business analysis experience.
  
• Experience with process reengineering, business requirements, use cases, and test script development.
  
• A high-level understanding of information technology concepts and the software development life cycle.
  
• The flexibility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
