Apache Flink Developer

Summary

We are seeking an Apache Flink Developer to build and optimize real-time data processing solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience with Apache Flink, distributed data processing, event-driven architectures, and cloud or big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain real-time streaming applications using Apache Flink.
Build scalable and fault-tolerant data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
Integrate Apache Flink with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
Develop stream processing jobs using Java, Scala, or Python.
Optimize Flink jobs for performance, latency, and resource utilization.
Implement event-time processing, windowing, state management, and checkpointing.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in streaming applications.
Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and DevOps teams.
Deploy and manage Flink applications on Kubernetes, Yarn, or cloud platforms.
Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Apache Flink.
Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems.
Knowledge of distributed systems and stream processing concepts.
Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–8+ years of software development or data engineering experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink in production environments.
