Business Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in New York, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business and operational systems. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful system delivery.

Responsibilities:
* Business Systems Analyst will gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
* Translate business needs into functional specifications and test plans
* Serve as the primary link between business users and technical teams throughout the system lifecycle
* Track, manage, and communicate issues, risks, and change requests
* Analyze and document business processes and workflows
* As a Business Systems Analyst, you will support project schedules, milestones, and reporting
* Produce clear status reports, presentations, and recommendations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or IT applications
* Strong understanding of application development, databases, and system design
* Proven analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in operations, network services, or supervisory roles is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
