Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineer-Equipment - II

Equipment Engineer

Location: Rolling Meadows, IL

3 days in office / 2 days remote

Long term contract

The equipment engineer position requires the individual to manage technology and capital to meet network growth needs on time and within budget.

Must provide complete equipment specifications for Network projects as defined by network deployment plans,

Responsibilities:

Supporting the In-building team working on DAS and Venue projects

Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.

Creating Material Requests.

Forecast future needs based on project start dates.

Ensure proper tracking of all components.

Monitor all equipment expenditures.

Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.

Equipment Procurement & Optimization.

Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.

Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

Wireless Technologies Wireless Networks Network Design

DESIRED SKILLS:

In-Building, DAS network experience, RF repeaters Cellular or telecommunication industry experience.

Knowledge of cell RF, electrical and mechanical design, including equipment configurations.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
