Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Consultant with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience, including team leadership, hands-on technical delivery, and client communication. This role requires a deep understanding of best practices for modern data platforms and the ability to design scalable, high-performance solutions.

What You'll Do?

• Solution Design & Delivery
  • Architect and implement data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
  • Apply best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security requirements.
• Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and guide best practices.
• Client Engagement
  • Act as a technical SME during client discussions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with client goals.
• Project Management
  • Monitor project health, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in governance calls and maintain strong client relationships.

What You'll Bring?

• Snowflake: Advanced knowledge of architecture, query optimization, security, and cost management.
• DBT: Expertise in building modular, testable, and scalable transformations.
• SQL & Python: Strong programming and scripting skills.
• Healthcare Domain: Understanding of payer/provider workflows, claims data, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing teams and delivering complex projects.
• Experience with Medallion Architecture and Databricks.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
• Exposure to BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
