Job Description
Looking for AWS Cloud Data Architect candidates, This role involves an Oracle to PostgreSQL migration.
Discovery and Assessment
- Review existing workflow migration automation, database migration, and performance tooling including capabilities and limitations.
- Identify gaps in current tooling and make suggestions or enhancements.
Workflow Automation Tooling
- Review architecture for migration automation including overall workflow and database migration.
- Enhance migration tooling to minimize downtime and support larger database sizes.
Workflow Automation Testing and Run Book
- Execute end-to-end tests of the automation tooling migration and enhance during Wave 2, 3, and 4.
- Develop/enhance the run book for the automation tooling.
Migration Execution Support
- Support the customer with their end-customer migration planning and cohort analysis. List of customers for each wave to be mutually agreed at least 30 days before the start of the wave.
- Develop and document solutions for improvement in cohort analysis results.
Skills
- Oracle to PostgreSQL migration.
- Apache Kafka or AWS DMS (Kafka preferred).
- Debezium for Change Data Capture (CDC).
- Java
