Responsibilities

Design interactive prototypes for websites and design system components and patterns. Refine designs based on user testing, feedback, and usability data. Iterate on components and patterns to ensure optimal user experiences.
Guide external designers by promoting the organization''s user experience philosophy, guidelines, and best practices for design system components.
Provide design reviews and gather feedback from internal and external teams to ensure design excellence and alignment.
Advocate for inclusive design practices, ensuring that the design system adheres to accessibility standards and meets the needs of diverse users.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the design system, including component guidelines, usage instructions, and best practices to support designers and developers.
Maintain and evolve the design system in Figma, keeping components, patterns, and documentation current and up to date.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of professional UX design experience.
Portfolio demonstrating interaction design, prototyping, and component design work.
Proficiency in Figma.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and other designers.
Experience with user testing and iterative design processes.

Highly Desired Skills

Familiarity with design systems and component-based design thinking.
Experience working with accessibility standards, including WCAG and inclusive design.
Understanding of design tokens or design system tooling.
