ASO Manager - Remote

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on ASO Manager to drive organic growth, visibility, and conversion across a portfolio of mobile and connected TV applications. This role is ideal for a data-driven ASO specialist with strong technical fundamentals, deep app ecosystem experience, and advanced analytics capabilities. The ASO Manager will own day-to-day app store optimization efforts and translate performance insights into clear, executive-ready recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

ASO Strategy & Execution

• Own and execute ASO strategy across Apple App Store, Google Play, and connected TV platforms (e.g., Roku, Fire TV, Samsung).
• Conduct keyword research, semantic clustering, and competitive analysis to improve rankings and discoverability.
• Optimize store metadata including titles, subtitles, keyword fields, descriptions, and release notes.
• Partner with Creative and Product Marketing teams to develop and optimize screenshots, video previews, and promotional assets.
• Lead A/B testing initiatives using Apple Product Page Optimization and Google Play Experiments to improve conversion and install velocity.
• Monitor platform updates and algorithm changes to ensure best-in-class ASO practices.

Analytics & Reporting

• Analyze performance data across App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and third-party ASO tools.
• Build and maintain dashboards tracking keyword rankings, conversion rates, install trends, and competitive share of voice.
• Create clear, visually compelling presentations that translate performance data into actionable growth insights.
• Partner with analytics teams to assess downstream impact, including retention and subscription performance.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
