Senior Systems Analyst Cerner (CCL / EHR)

We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Cerner Millennium and clinical systems to support large-scale healthcare data and application initiatives. This role will focus on supporting EHR environments, data integrations, and system optimization efforts.

This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who understands both clinical workflows and backend system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance Cerner Millennium environments and related systems
• Translate clinical and business requirements into technical and data specifications
• Develop, execute, and optimize Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts
• Design and support ETL processes and data integration workflows
• Perform data extraction, migration, and system integration activities
• Support large-scale EHR implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives
• Work with distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, technical, and data stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 11 years of experience with clinical workflows and healthcare operations
• 11 years of experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, migrations, or optimization efforts
• 11 years of experience translating clinical requirements into technical/data specifications
• 11 years of hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)
• 11 years of experience with Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases
• 11 years of experience with SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction/migration patterns
• 11 years of experience designing and supporting ETL processes
• 11 years of experience with healthcare data integrations and reporting environments
• 11 years of experience with REST/SOA development
• 11 years of knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning
• 11 years of experience writing, executing, and tuning CCL scripts in production
• 11 years of experience with data extraction, system integration, and code development
• 11 years of experience with one or more programming languages (Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, OCI)
• 11 years of experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OCI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 11 years of experience supporting Cerner Millennium environments
• 11 years of experience as a senior Cerner consultant or technical lead

Additional Details:

• Location: 100% Remote (U.S. based candidates only)
• Schedule: Monday Friday, standard business hours
• Engagement expected through August 2026, with potential for extension

Requirements:
