Analyst Senior Vulnerability Reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst in Miami, FL.

Summary:
The purpose of this position is for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our Information Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing vulnerabilities across our IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance our security posture.

Essential Functions:
* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program
* Generate regular reports on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts
* Ensure tools are properly configured and integrated with other security and IT systems
* Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools such as Qualys
* Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
* 5-7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, risk analysis, or related fields
* Extensive experience with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and risk-management frameworks
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or Splunk
* Ability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences
* Familiarity with cloud environments, enterprise IT infrastructure, and OT/ICS environments (especially relevant for fleet operations)
* Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, or other GIAC certifications (preferred but not required)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
