Chronos Operations (CO) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation based in Anchorage, AK. Belonging to the Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Chronos has a culture rooted in integrity, respect, and exceptional performance. Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.

Chronos Operations, LLC is seeking a Sr. Azure DevOps Solutions Architect that shall provide support services to develop and implement the delivery of a pragmatic set of services in support of BISDs Agile IT Modernization capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Technologist for MS Power BI, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Super Intelligence (SI)
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems and assess customer environments.
  • Expert knowledge in design and delivering MS SharePoint, Power BI, and Azure Devops tools and integrations, utilizing approved user stories to develop and configure the COTS solution.
  • Expertise in leading customer design sessions.
  • Develop strategic and tactical briefs to executive-level leadership and other stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge in dashboarding (especially MS Power BI).
  • Expert knowledge in developing, testing, and configuring MS Cloud and On-Prem MS Power BI, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Super Intelligence (SI) tools, as well as in installing and creating user and administrative accounts in the various environments.
  • Participate in discussions that seek to drive the migration to future-state tools and processes when possible, and support setup and population of new projects in Azure DevOps.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting SharePoint, Power BI Gateway, authentication and permissions issues, and other platform issues.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting issues surrounding usage of Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps pipeline deployment automation and SQL database queries.
  • Create Semantic Models and data reports from multiple data sources for use with MS Power BI.
  • Responsible for developing C# based Selenium tests to validate changes to deployed web application.
  • Create and maintain information on multiple SharePoint sites.
  • Develop guidance documentation for development tools and IT practices.
  • Provide internal team training and professional development opportunities for the technical team to ensure that members stay current with industry best practices and maintain a high level of expertise.
  • Support business management activities as required (e.g., customer technical capabilities briefings, past performance content, technical solutions).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4+ years of direct experience in data analysis, data visualization, and/or data management and reporting (Power BI, SharePoint)
  • Must have experience in Azure DevOps administration and development tools.
  • Must have experience in DevOps principles like continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
  • Must have experience with Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Background check with the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university OR High school diploma or GED equivalent and an additional 6+ years of relevant experience may be used instead of a degree.
  • Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure DevOps) and/or Microsoft 365 (e.g. SharePoint) certifications preferred
  • Quality certification preferred (e.g., Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
  • Experience in Azure DevOps administration and development tools
  • Experience helping development teams apply an Agile framework.
  • Ability to analyze technical problems and propose solutions
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in organizational transformation and change management
  • Advanced skills in problem-solving
  • Good work ethic and active desire to learn

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to travel 10%.
