Position: Fulltime

• Position Overview:
  The Sr. Application Technical Analyst (Analyst, App Ops & Deploy Sr) will provide
  technical direction to an application team consisting of multiple developers maintaining
  & developing high performance customer-facing portal applications and web sites. 
   
  Responsibilities:
• Reviews and enforces tech specifications & software solutions, in accordance
  with overall enterprise standards, utilizing appropriate software engineering
  processes – either individually or in concert with project team
• Performs detailed technical design reviews and code reviews. Participates in
  walk-through reviews of all technical specifications, programs and
  unit/integration/regression test plans
• Provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy
  Works with senior architects to develop enterprise level application and custom
  integration solutions for new initiatives & major enhancements
• Has in-depth knowledge of state-of the art programming languages and object-
  oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs
  Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current
  application development methodologies
• Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible
  application to the enterprise
• Providing technical expertise and technical direction across multiple disciplines
  within the enterprise
• Works with multiple internal/external teams to integrate the software applications
  developed
• Interface with enterprise architects, web administrators, DBA’s, business analysts
  to ensure developed solutions meet all critical business and technical requirements
• Acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or
  equivalent work experience
• 5 to 7 years of experience in IT Development and 2–3 years of relevant
  architecture exposure
• Requires prior knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems
  design and integration
• Technical skills include: Java / J2EE (preferably using WebSphere Application
  Server with Oracle database), Web Services, Messaging, Multi-Threaded
  development, effective use of proven Design Patterns.   Nice to have: IBM
  WebSphere Portal, IBM WCM
• Working with distributed development teams (off shore/near shore) Must
  Excellent communication skills both verbal and written a must
