About the Role

We are seeking a expert AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions within a large, complex environment. This role is hands-on and highly technical, focused on Microsoft Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. You will work on advanced generative AI use cases, internal copilots, and data-driven AI platforms that are actively used at scale.
This is not an entry-level or exploratory AI role. Candidates must have proven experience delivering production AI solutions in enterprise environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Architect, build, and deploy generative and agentic AI solutions using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI services
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, embeddings, vector search, and prompt orchestration
  • Build enterprise data and AI pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics)
  • Develop and extend Microsoft 365 Copilot and custom Copilot agents using Copilot Studio, Graph connectors, and plugins
  • Integrate AI capabilities into business applications using Azure AI Search and Document Intelligence
  • Create secure APIs and orchestration layers with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management
  • Implement MLOps / LLMOps practices for deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and versioning
  • Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases
  • Ensure solutions meet standards for security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI
  • Produce clear technical documentation and architectural artifacts

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Applicants must meet most of the following to be considered:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML development
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Engineering, Analytics workloads)
  • Proven experience building production-grade AI applications (not just POCs)
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • RAG architectures and vector databases
    • Prompt engineering and LLM orchestration
    • API development and integration
  • Strong coding skills in Python, C#, or TypeScript
  • Experience implementing CI/CD, MLOps, or LLMOps workflows

Preferred (Strong Plus)

  • Experience building or extending Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Studio agents
  • Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Knowledge of Azure security, governance, and identity services
