Job Title: .NET Developer – Azure / Security & AI
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong Azure experience to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with application security, vulnerability management, code-scanning tools, and AI-assisted development tools.
Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application development

Experience in REST APIs, Web APIs, Microservices, SQL Server and enterprise application development

Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and remediation
-
Experience with application/code scanning and security tools such as:
-
Checkmarx
-
SonarQube
-
Vulnerability scanning and code-quality analysis tools
-
Ability to identify, analyze, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities and code-quality issues
-
Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including Windy Clouds and Cloudia, for development, code analysis, troubleshooting, or productivity
-
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and automated build/deployment processes
-
Understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP principles, and application security
-
Experience handling change requests, application changes, enhancements, and production fixes
-
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain scalable .NET applications hosted on Azure.
-
Design and develop APIs, services, and application components using .NET technologies.
-
Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities identified through Checkmarx, SonarQube, and other scanning tools.
-
Work with security and development teams to address vulnerabilities within defined timelines.
-
Integrate secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
-
Use approved AI development tools such as Windy Clouds and Cloudia to improve coding, analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting workflows.
-
Participate in change management, including application enhancements, fixes, deployments, and production changes.
-
Support CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps processes.
-
Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, security, and business teams.
-
Ensure applications meet enterprise security, quality, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, and Azure DevOps

Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security scanning into CI/CD pipelines
-
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
-
Experience working in enterprise application environments

Strong communication and collaboration skills
