Position: Software Engineer
Location: Moorestown, NJ
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join a Radar Modelling and Simulation team focused on building high-performance, high-fidelity simulation software. In this role, you will design and develop C++-based systems that support radar modelling, scene modelling, signal generation, signal processing, and radar control functions within simulation and digital twin environments.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ software for radar modelling and simulation
Contribute to radar scene modelling, signal construction, signal processing, and control processing components
Apply systems engineering principles to ensure robustness, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and technical architects to deliver end-to-end solutions
Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews
Write clear, maintainable code and produce strong technical documentation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to early-career engineers
Support performance analysis, debugging, and validation of complex simulation systems
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field
2-5 years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in C++ or another object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#
Experience with object-oriented design principles
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create clear and effective technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Strong foundation in linear algebra, statistics, and signal processing
Familiarity with radar systems, subsystems, and architectures
Experience with radar-related algorithms, modelling, simulation, or data analysis
Exposure to radar design or simulation tools
Experience providing technical leadership or influencing design decisions
Background in systems-level software development or simulation frameworks
