The Clinical Engineering Quality Program Supervisor (CEQPS) provides leadership to all of the Clinical Engineering departments throughout the enterprise to identify areas of operational improvements, make recommendations and assists or leads these initiatives. The CEQPS provides guidance and data to support the Corrective Action & Preventative Action (CAPA) program and provides recommendations for quality/process improvements. Manages the day to day activities of the CE Field Service Team.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinates and manages all aspects of the CAPA program for quality in Clinical Engineering throughout the enterprise.
  • Coordinates and manages Clinical Engineering quality/process improvement programs across the enterprise.
  • Creates and delivers technical resolutions to create a workflow, process design and programming solutions to business problems.
  • Creates and implements project plans and routinely communicates the status of work.
  • Coordinates and assists in the education and training of new hires and other team members. Serves as a resource for the Clinical Engineering team.
  • Manages the day to day activities of the Clinical Engineering Field Service team.
  • Manages all training aspects for Clinical Engineering technicians.
  • Provides support for the CMMS database.
  • Assists with budget preparation and management for Corporate Clinical Engineering.
  • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Minimum Requirements
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 3+ years of experience in a Clinical Engineering or quality/performance improvement setting.

Required Skills and Abilities
  • PROJECT/CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Ability to implement process improvements
  • PROJECT/CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Ability to manage concurrent projects while meeting project deadlines
  • COMMUNICATION: Demonstrated customer service skills
  • COMMUNICATION: Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
  • COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
