Job Overview: The Digital Technology team is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer V to join our IBM Mainframe Engineering team within Business Operations Services. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology to support critical Tier 1 application systems, including Peoplesoft HR/Payroll, Engine Maintenance, Reservation Centers, and Employee Travel Management. The position requires expertise in DB2 for z/OS, system tuning, capacity planning, and collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities: - Support the infrastructure and DB2 Data Repository on the IBM Mainframe for critical Tier 1 application systems.
- Provide 24/7/365 on-call support for system maintenance and issue resolution.
- Ensure DB2 and all associated ISV products are maintained at current supported levels.
- Provide testing support and product verification for DB2 and related software during system upgrades, operating system updates, and hardware replacements.
- Collaborate with Business Users and Application Development teams to provide consultation services related to accessing business data stored on the IBM Mainframe.
- Work closely with other IBM Mainframe support groups, including Operating System, Database Administration, Storage Management, Operations/Coverage, Information Security, and Job Scheduling teams.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DB2 Systems Programming on IBM Mainframes.
- Strong working knowledge of DB2 for z/OS, IBM Assembler, and SMP/E.
- Experience with installing, maintaining, monitoring, and tuning DB2 and ISV products.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
Preferred Qualifications: - 5 to 10 years of experience in DB2 Systems Programming on IBM Mainframes.
- Previous experience in DB2 Database Administration.
- Familiarity with Broadcom DB2 tools.
- Experience in performance and capacity planning, as well as hardware and storage management.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/Hr
