Data Warehouse Developer

job summary:

The Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for assisting in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and implementation of data warehouse initiatives. Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables.

Candidate MUST be a Wisconsin resident, and strong preference will be given to current residents of Wisconsin. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (95% remote 5% onsite as needed). Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.

responsibilities:

• Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and for ensuring reliability of information loaded.
• Works with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements and recommend and implement solutions.
• Seek continuous improvement in performance and tuning of data warehouse and ensure security of data.

qualifications:

- Moderate experience in data warehousing process design and development (4+ years)

- Data warehouse - performance tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite (4+ years)

- Developing skills in the architecture of data warehouse and data integration strategies and solutions

- Knowledge in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server (3+ years)

- Strong data management and data analysis using SQL (4+ years)
