Technical (50%) - PeopleCode, development, troubleshooting
Admin (25%) - installs, upgrades, server configuration (UNIX/Windows)
Functional (25%) - configuration, business interaction, understanding new features
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support enhancements for PeopleSoft Finance 9.2, including GL, AP, and AM.
Develop and maintain PeopleSoft Fluid UI components, pages, and tiles
Design and develop REST-based APIs for integration with internal and external systems
Perform analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation in an Agile environment
Propose technical solutions and partner with business stakeholders through design, testing, and deployment
Perform PeopleSoft administration tasks including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, migrations, and PUM upgrades
Execute application upgrades, patches, and retrofitting while ensuring system stability and compliance
Provide production support including troubleshooting, defect resolution, and ongoing maintenance
Develop and maintain scripts to support batch processing, automation, and system operations: Shell scripting, Windows batch scripts and Stored procedure.
Develop reports and queries using SQL, PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), and SQR
Create and maintain technical design documents, specifications, and project documentation
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business partners to resolve complex system and integration issues
Support system testing, release activities, and post-deployment validation
Participate in large-scale enterprise upgrades and migration initiatives
Ensure solutions meet business, security, audit, and regulatory requirements and are delivered within established timelines
Ideal Qualifications
10+ years of PeopleSoft development experience in large enterprise environments
5+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Asset Management (AM)
4+ years of PeopleSoft Fluid UI development
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and application framework
Extensive experience with PeopleTools, including: PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, BI Publisher / XML Publisher and Application Packages.
Proven experience developing RESTful APIs.
Strong experience with Oracle databases, including: SQL and Stored procedures
Hands-on experience with shell scripting and Windows batch scripting
Experience with PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, and modifications
Experience with PeopleSoft administration, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and PUM upgrades
Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery models
Experience contributing to large, complex enterprise system migrations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Experience documenting defects with clear analysis and technical resolutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented; able to work independently and collaboratively
