Job Description:
Responsibilities

• Responsible for complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler processes to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business operations and decision-making.
• Manage Data Warehouse change management infrastructure, including all code and DDL promotions; perform build engineer tasks for both manual and automated deployment processes.
• Maintain complex Linux security models on DW ETL servers, including user access authorization, groups, and sudo permissions.
• Manage Teradata security and user access.
• Conduct data architecture reviews and audits to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and technical solutions.
• Provide support for escalated Data Warehouse troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve scalability and performance.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective use of enterprise data assets.
• Support and manage ETL/data integration workflows across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and external service providers as needed.
• Support patch management, system upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical platform issues.
• Perform data profiling and implement data quality assessment and validation rules.
• Execute data cleansing and standardization using built-in and custom data rules.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies for data systems.
• Lead migration efforts toward standardized/common data warehouse frameworks.
• Conduct elevated access reviews and user audits for compliance purposes.
• Identify and remediate audit findings related to data systems and security.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Teradata experience (top priority skill).
• Experience supporting data loading from multiple source systems.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and targeted training to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support.
• Minimum 5 years of Linux experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to recommend solutions while adhering to organizational policies and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting complex data and system issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous public sector or large enterprise experience.
• Experience with cloud-based BI tools.
