Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka. Work with APIGEE Runtime Management for API deployment, monitoring, and management. Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing backend solutions. Support CI/CD pipeline setup, integration, and deployment processes. Integrate applications with cloud platforms and enterprise messaging systems. Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams throughout the SDLC. Follow Agile development practices, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Identify and resolve performance, integration, and production issues. Required Qualifications ~6+ years of professional software development experience. ~ Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot. ~ Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs. ~ Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures. ~ Good understanding of APIGEE Runtime Management. ~ Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and DevOps practices. ~ Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, security, and scalability. ~ Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. ~ Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS cloud services. Knowledge of MQ / enterprise messaging systems. Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices. AWS certification is preferred but not required.
