SAP BTP Security Design Architect

Duration: Full Time Opportunity

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Lead with strong expertise in S/4HANA and SAP BTP security architecture. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing end-to-end security solutions across SAP landscapes, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards and global security strategy.
• The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in S/4HANA security design, SAP BTP security frameworks, and data-level security controls, along with leadership experience managing complex global rollouts and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall security design and implementation for SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with business objectives and planned timelines.
• Oversee progress tracking, reporting key metrics to leadership, and driving timely resolution of security issues.
• Assess functional requirements and provide recommendations aligned with Application Security guidelines and compliance standards.
• Translate functional specifications into robust technical security designs, particularly for data-level security.
• Develop security solutions integrated with CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP.
• Provide S/4HANA Security support in alignment with the Global Security Strategy.
• Design and build security roles, groups, and permissions across SAP systems.
• Manage user administration using Active Directory and Identity & Access Management (IAM) tools.
• Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis to identify risks and compliance issues.
• Develop and implement enterprise-level Application Data Security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore development teams to ensure secure implementation.
• Partner with Support Leads to ensure effective issue resolution and stakeholder alignment.
• Supervise and lead security-related deliverables across multiple workstreams.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in S/4HANA Security design and implementation
• 3+ years of experience in SAP BTP Security architecture and design
• Strong experience in:
• Enterprise S/4HANA Security
• BW/4HANA Security
• ERP Security
• Reporting security in BW/4HANA
• NetWeaver Security
• Data-level security controls
• Experience developing security within CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP
• Strong understanding of:
• SAP Authorization concepts
• Data Security frameworks
• SAP SuccessFactors Security
• Enterprise Architecture & Development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with:
• Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis
• Role design and governance
• IAM and Active Directory integration
• Experience supporting global and regional SAP rollouts (preferred)
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex enterprise technology projects

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
