Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cribl Network Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the strategic assessment, deployment, and optimization of Cribl solutions within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to make a significant impact by enhancing our network data management capabilities, integrating advanced automation tools, and supporting federal client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing Cribl deployments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and execute detailed deployment and integration plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present technical solutions, and ensure smooth implementation.
- Manage administrative functions including user management, role-based access control, and audit logging to ensure security and compliance.
- Leverage detection capabilities and AI-driven tools for proactive monitoring and anomaly detection.
- Oversee data ingestion, normalization, and integration processes to ensure high-quality, accessible data.
- Design and produce reporting dashboards and visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Advise on best practices for network automation and data management strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT roles with demonstrated SME-level expertise.
- Proven experience working with federal clients and understanding of government security and compliance standards.
- Strong self-initiative, accountability, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experienced presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within teams.
- Technical proficiency in network scripting, automation, data science, and data management platforms.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cribl Data Management Platform.
Preferred:
- Relevant IT/telecom industry certifications.
- Experience with Elastic Search and other data indexing and searching tools.
