Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer/Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting system-to-system integrations in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HL7 messaging standards, Rhapsody Integration Engine, and/or Dell Boomi iPaaS platform.

This role focuses on building robust, secure, and scalable data exchange solutions between clinical, financial, and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop healthcare interfaces using HL7 (v2.x preferred)
• Configure and maintain integrations using Rhapsody
• Build and deploy integration workflows in Dell Boomi
• Perform message mapping, transformation, and routing
• Troubleshoot interface issues and resolve production incidents
• Monitor integration performance and message queues
• Implement error handling and data validation logic
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and clinical teams
• Document integration workflows and data mappings
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure data exchange

Required Skills

• Strong experience with HL7 messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU)
• Hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine
• Experience with Dell Boomi (AtomSphere)
• Knowledge of:
• API integrations (REST/SOAP)
• JSON, XML
• SQL
• Data transformation/mapping
• Experience in healthcare domain preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• FHIR experience
• Mirth Connect experience
• Cloverleaf experience
• AWS/Azure integration experience
• DevOps/CI-CD exposure

Experience Level

• 10+ years in healthcare integration
• Experience supporting production environments
• Prior hospital/health system experience preferred
