Java Fullstack Engineer

Location: Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to join a team building a new enterprise workflow orchestration platform. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable, enterprise-grade web applications utilizing a cloud-native business automation framework. You will be responsible for building and enhancing workflow-driven applications, developing microservices, and creating modern user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance workflow-driven applications using Kogito/BAMOE and develop business process orchestration capabilities with Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Build modern web-based user interfaces using either React or Angular and integrate them with workflow and automation services.
• Contribute to the development of administrative capabilities for workflow management and improve platform usability.
• Build dashboards and monitoring capabilities to provide visibility into process performance and workflow health.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in system architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java technologies.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with frontend development using Angular or React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of Kogito / BAMOE.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with security best practices and OAuth/JWT authentication.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
