Your role on the team involves implementing the advanced DC-DC power designs for Apple's next generation Mac platforms covering portable, desktop and server systems, and other future Mac products.
As a DC-DC power system designer, you will be driving innovative power circuit designs and system level partitioning from initial concept investigations, to design execution, and through successful product manufacturing.
Electrical / Computer engineering degree with >5 years of relevant work experience, e.g. in consumer and server electronics or semiconductor companies.\n\nUnderstanding single- and multi- phase DC-DC regulators, control loops, passive components, operating modes, thermals, efficiency and fault protection functions.\n\nExperienced in power circuit design, simulations, functionality and performance validation, test automation, issue debug, PCB schematic and layout.\n\nOccasional travel in the US and overseas to provide factory or vendor support.
Highly motivated, self-starter, able to work well with multi-functional teams in dynamic work environment.\n\nCode development skills, e.g. Python, Matlab, Math Cad.\n\nExperience with multi-channel power management integrated circuits.\n\nExperience with high-current data-center rack power distribution\n\nBackground in analog, digital or power integrated circuit design.\n\nExperience with digital hardware design such as microcontrollers and digital interfaces (such as I2C, SPI, SPMI, etc)
