Senior Atlassian Cloud Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Senior Atlassian Cloud Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Atlassian Cloud platforms to design, optimize, and govern enterprise Atlassian solutions. This role partners closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and security teams to deliver secure, data-driven, and scalable solutions using Jira, Confluence, Rovo, Atlassian Analytics, and Atlassian Guard.

Responsibilities:
* Administer, configure, and optimize Atlassian Cloud platforms including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
* Design and maintain workflows, fields, screens, schemes, permissions, notifications, and project templates to support Agile delivery at scale
* Lead modernization and migration of legacy or on-prem Atlassian configurations to cloud-optimized solutions
* Configure and govern Rovo to improve enterprise search, knowledge discovery, and AI-assisted workflows
* Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement high-value Rovo use cases while enforcing content, access, and privacy standards
* Design and maintain Atlassian Analytics dashboards, KPIs, and data models to support delivery, operations, and support reporting
* Translate business questions into actionable metrics and reporting solutions
* Configure and operate Atlassian Guard to enforce security, compliance, monitoring, and least-privilege access
* Collaborate with Security, IT, and Compliance teams on audits, incident response, and governance controls
* Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and act as a bridge between business and technical teams
* Create and maintain documentation including solution designs, standards, runbooks, and user guides

REQUIREMENTS:
* Senior-level experience administering and engineering Atlassian Cloud environments
* Hands-on expertise with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
* Strong experience with Rovo, Atlassian Analytics, and Atlassian Guard
* Proven ability to design scalable workflows, permission models, governance frameworks, and project templates
* Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product delivery methodologies
* Experience translating business, delivery, and security requirements into technical configurations and implementation plans
* Advanced reporting and analytics skills, including defining KPIs, dashboards, and data models
* Experience partnering with Security and Compliance teams on access controls, audits, and incident response
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in an agile environment
* Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
