Role: .Net Architect
Location: Harrisburg, PA onsite role
Duration: 12 Months
Location Requirement: East Coast candidates only, with strong preference for those located in or near Pennsylvania ( NJ, DE, MD, NY, VA, WV, OH).
The client is looking for a Senior .NET Application/Solution Architect with strong technical leadership and modernization experience. In summary:
Extensive .NET Architecture Expertise: Deep experience designing and leading enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Web API, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection, Minimal APIs, and asynchronous programming.
Advanced SQL Server Skills: Expert in complex T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, execution plans, SQL Server security (RLS/DDM), and Always On Availability Groups.
Modernization & AI-Assisted Development: Proven experience migrating legacy systems to modern .NET platforms, using GitHub Copilot daily for enterprise development, and implementing secure SDLC practices.
Security & Enterprise Architecture: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, API security, governance, and enterprise architecture, with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Domain Experience: Experience in public sector, utilities, or other regulated industries, familiarity with IBM FileNet/BAW, Azure architecture (Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
