job summary:
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer skilled in developing robust systems and solutions using Rust.
The position contributes across multiple projects involving aviation communications, sensing, and network services. The role emphasizes functional-level design ownership, implementation of math- and physics-based algorithms, and on-going participation in operating the systems being built.
The position will require end-to-end knowledge of the organization's Deterministic Distributed Radar airspace awareness solution. This includes overall understanding of the architecture, functional components, integration requirements, security requirements, OSS, databases, and external service integrations, such as live ADS-B feeds, digital twins for continuous improvement, machine learning or AI.
The role must also support 5G Core network architecture and specific functions such as the CU, DU, FFRC, DFAS, which have been developed as part of its aviation communications infrastructure. This involves understanding 3rd party software stacks from Dell as well as internally developed modules.
