Job Title: Nexthink Engineer
Location: Spring, TX (Onsite)
Type: Long-Term Contract

Job description:
The Nexthink Engineer will support the organization's Digital Employee Experience (DEX) strategy by managing and enhancing the Nexthink platform. This role focuses on DEX score optimization, proactive monitoring, automation, and remediation to improve endpoint performance and reduce frustrated users across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and govern the Nexthink platform, including configuration and onboarding of new features
Promote Nexthink best practices and adoption across IT teams
Design and implement Nexthink-driven use cases for observability, compliance, automation, and DEX improvement
Monitor and analyze DEX scores, device health, and user experience metrics
Build and maintain Remote Actions, campaigns, automated workflows, and Nexthink Flow
Develop dashboards and reports for operational teams and leadership
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to operationalize insights and workflows
Trigger proactive remediation, escalate issues, and support root-cause resolution
Continuously analyze telemetry to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
Evolve the Nexthink platform to support emerging needs and new capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Nexthink Expertise

Advanced Remote Action (RA) development
Nexthink Flow workflow design and automation
Strong NQL query development and dashboard creation
Deep understanding of the Nexthink data model and DEX score drivers
Experience with Nexthink campaigns, user engagement, and remediation logic

Scripting & Automation

Advanced PowerShell scripting (diagnostics, automation, script signing)
Experience with REST APIs, authentication, and system integrations

Troubleshooting & Observability

Endpoint performance troubleshooting (Windows OS)
Understanding of networking basics, device health, and application performance
Ability to correlate telemetry signals and identify root causes

Analytics & Reporting

Strong data analysis skills
Ability to translate telemetry into actionable insights and recommendations

Cloud & Workplace Technologies

Basic cloud knowledge (Azure preferred)
Familiarity with Intune, M365, or modern device management tools is a plus

Soft Skills

Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate across IT and business teams
Adaptability to evolving platforms, AI-driven insights, and observability practices
