MUST BE ABLE TO CODE MODERN S4 ABAP vs ECC - the difference is below:
In ECC, ABAP is more traditional and application-server heavy. The database mostly stores data, while ABAP code does much of the processing.
o In HANA / S/4HANA, ABAP is written to push logic down to the database because HANA is an in-memory database designed for speed and advanced processing.
o Key HANA/S/4 ABAP skills to validate
· Ask if they have experience with:

o Joins, expressions, inline declarations, aggregations
o Avoiding row-by-row processing
