Looking for Interns:

A Network Intern assists IT teams with installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware (routers, switches) and software, while troubleshooting connectivity issues. Key duties include monitoring network performance, updating security protocols (firewalls/VPNs), and documenting network changes, often utilizing tools like Wireshark and Packet Tracer.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Support: Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and resolve connectivity, IP configuration, and network-related issues.
Monitoring & Maintenance: Utilize monitoring tools to check network performance and security logs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, IP addresses, and troubleshooting steps.
Physical Setup: Assist with network cabling, hardware deployment, and data center tasks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of network fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Tools: Familiarity with Cisco Packet Tracer, Wireshark, GNS3, or Linux/Unix environments.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, eagerness to learn, and effective communication skills.

Targeted Experience

Hands-on experience with networking hardware and tools.
Understanding of security protocols (VPNs).

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced IT team

->CCNA/CCNP Certification
