Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Backend Engineers to support the TurboTax platform. The ideal candidate must have prior hands-on development experience with TurboTax products, specifically working within the Dynex (Dynamic Experiences) framework and Topic Development in the Common State Machine (CSM) environment.

This role focuses on backend feature development, dynamic experience flows, and page collections within TurboTax s architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for TurboTax applications.

• Build and enhance Dynex-based Dynamic Experience flows.

• Develop and support Topic Development page collections within the Common State Machine (CSM) framework.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Frontend teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

• Optimize backend performance and ensure reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven engineering experience working on TurboTax products (mandatory).

• Strong hands-on experience with Dynex (Dynamic Experiences).

• Solid understanding of Topic Development and Common State Machine page flows.

• Strong backend/API development experience.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Graph/GraphQL-based backend systems.

• Strong experience with Java or other modern backend technology stacks.

• Experience working in agile development environments.
