Job Description 

·       We are currently seeking a highly motivated “Quality Assurance Specialist” to join our team for a project with our esteemed client. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in “OneStream implementation, OneStream Core Platform Architect certification, Oracle Hyperion Planning with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Job Description

This position will function as a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with responsibilities that include:


• Lead and participate in establishing automated testing solutions

• Design, execute and maintain automated test scripts

• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, system test scenarios, regression test plans and test scripts (both manual and automated) based on software requirements and technical specifications

• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write and refine regression test plans 

• Document and report test results 

• Assist with the analysis of the results of automated test scripts

• Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions

• Lead and participate in system testing and ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements prior to user acceptance testing

• Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans

• Work closely with QA Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery

• Work effectively in a team environment, completing assigned tasks and contributing to project planning and scheduling


• Exceptional skills in automated testing and QA methodologies

• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Experience mentoring QA Analysts

• Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts to non-technical users

• Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements; fluency in business processes

• Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis

• Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

 

Required/Desired Skills

 

10+ years of QA testing experience with industry standard quality assurance methodologies, verification and validation processes

Required

Minimum of 18 months of hands-on experience with test automation development using AccelQ

Required

3+ years of business process analysis

Required

Hands-on experience in test automation design and development involving GUI, API and back-end database verification

Required

Experience with Continuous Integration testing tools

Required

4-year college degree in computer information systems or equivalent technical study
