Summary

Job Title: .NET API Engineer (AWS)

Location- Remote

Job Summary:

Develop and maintain secure, scalable APIs using .NET technologies, with deployment and operations on AWS cloud. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build RESTful APIs using C# / ASP.NET Core (.NET 6+)
Develop and maintain microservices and backend components
Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway)
Integrate APIs with databases, third-party services, and front-end systems
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues

Required Skills:

Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core / Web API
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
Solid understanding of REST API design principles
Knowledge of SQL (e.g., SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Git and version control
Basic understanding of Docker / containerization

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
4–7 years of experience in .NET backend/API development

Preferred (Optional):

Experience with microservices architecture
Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
AWS Certification (e.g., Developer Associate)
