As a Senior Business Consultant, you will act as the primary bridge between our clients and our technical delivery teams.
Your core mission is to analyze complex laboratory workflows, capture functional needs, and translate them into actionable specifications for the deployment of specialized Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
You will provide strategic oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the final configuration aligns with both client expectations and budgetary constraints.

responsibilities:
Requirement Architecture: Facilitate discovery workshops to evaluate existing business processes and define the scope of functional requirements for new system implementations.
Technical Translation: Convert high-level user needs into detailed Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), ensuring the proposed design leverages the core platform architecture effectively.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Configuration Architects and Developers to ensure a seamless transition from design to build. You will serve as the "voice of the client" during the development and review phases.
Project Governance: Collaborate closely with Project Management to monitor timelines, manage change requests, and mitigate risks or delivery hurdles.
Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a subject matter expert for the internal team by refining requirement templates, contributing to the organizational Knowledge Base (KB), and mentoring junior analysts on best practices.
Quality Assurance: Lead the Acceptance Testing (ATP) process with the client, documenting exceptions and coordinating with the engineering team to resolve issues prior to go-live.
Strategic Hand-off: Assist clients with master data migration and ensure a smooth transition from the implementation phase to long-term technical support.
qualifications:
- Business Analyst must have at least a Bachelor's Degree, 10-12 years of experience interfacing with customers in a consulting environment
- 2-3 years of experience in performing business analysis and/or process re-engineering
- Must possess strong technical documentation and organizational skills
- Must be able to facilitate customer workshops and elicit requirements
- Must possess strong communication skills including written and verbal
- Working with a geographically distributed team including in different countries/time zones is a plus.
