We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and AWS to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications. This is more of hands-on role here the successful candidate will spend a significant portion of their time designing solutions, writing high-quality code, reviewing implementations, and solving complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering, cloud-native development, and modern distributed systems, while providing technical guidance and influencing engineering best practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs following modern architectural principles. • Develop event-driven applications leveraging Apache Kafka. • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-quality code. • Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions. • Integrate applications with cloud services on AWS. • Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues. • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices. • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps initiatives. • Mentor team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing without direct people management responsibilities.
Qualifications • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in Java application development. • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices. • Extensive experience developing event-driven applications using Kafka. • Experience building and deploying applications on AWS. • Solid understanding of distributed systems, system design, and software engineering best practices. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
