Technical Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented AI Tools & Automation Engineer to develop AI-powered tools and automated solutions that improve engineering workflows, increase operational efficiency, and enhance work quality.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams and subject matter experts to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, and build practical AI solutions that streamline day-to-day activities.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to develop AI agents, automate data-driven processes, analyze engineering data, and provide actionable insights.

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered applications, agents, and automation tools using Python and other relevant technologies to streamline engineering processes and improve team efficiency.
• Observe existing workflows and collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and quality improvement.
• Gather and analyze engineering data to develop tools that generate insights, support decision-making, and recommend process improvements.
• Work independently or collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI-driven solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously by developing project plans, establishing timelines, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
• Create clear technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support tool adoption and ongoing usage.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, provide user training, and host office hours to help team members effectively use newly developed tools.
• Gather user feedback and continuously enhance tools and applications to address evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a structured process for tracking, evaluating, and prioritizing requests for tool enhancements.
• Work closely with existing AI and automation team members to learn established processes, share knowledge, and deliver new solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in software development, AI engineering, automation, or a related field.
• Strong programming knowledge and hands-on experience with Python.
• Demonstrated experience developing AI agents, AI-powered applications, or intelligent automation tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand existing workflows and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
