Human Resources Associate (Early Career)

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Human Resources Associate for a contract position in Overland Park, KS. The opportunity will be for six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: We are seeking an early-career candidate who is eager to learn and grow within the Human Resources field. Experience in construction recruiting is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Resolve issues around last-minute scheduling conflicts or any other problems that arise with candidates or interviewers.
• Work cohesively with recruiters to track all recruiting steps throughout the candidate interview process within the ATS (Successfactors).
• Maintain candidate correspondence throughout the interview process and engage the recruiter as needed.
• Coordinate new professional background screening.
• Coordinate with IT on orders for all new professionals.
• Manage and coordinate the pre-employment and onboarding processes for all newly hired professionals.
• Develop internal and external relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Schedule interviews and manage travel arrangements for onsite interviews, and process candidate expense reports.
• Host candidates on the day of interviews by escorting them to and from interviews, providing tours, and performing other activities as needed.
• Work on HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Required: 1 year of HR experience or 2 years of administrative experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Familiarity with OFCCP compliance-related policies and procedures.
