In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations through process surveillance, troubleshooting, and innovative engineering support. What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert process surveillance, troubleshooting, and analysis to optimize LNG facility operations.
  • Develop and implement process modifications, manage change through rigorous MOC procedures, and support capital project planning.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis on key performance indicators, safeguarding safe operation limits.
  • Build process simulations to diagnose system responses and assist troubleshooting efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to troubleshoot process issues and develop monitoring tools for enhanced efficiency.
  • Support process safety initiatives by participating in PHA, HAZOP, and LOPA studies, and contribute to risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Assist in commissioning, startup, and operational phases for new process units and upgrades.
  • Prepare technical reports, scope of work estimates, and support audits and assessments.
  • Facilitate process safety training and lead debottlenecking studies to maximize plant performance.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of process engineering systems, including P&IDs, PFDs, material and energy balances, and control narratives.
  • Proven experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, and safety analysis.
  • Familiarity with MOC procedures, process safety principles, and relevant standards and codes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs.
  • Clear, professional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound engineering judgments.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with LNG operations and process simulations.
  • Knowledge of process safety management systems and safety instrumented systems.
  • Prior involvement in hazard analysis, incident investigations, and safety reviews.
  • Skills in process monitoring tool development and performance testing.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in process engineering within the energy or LNG industry.
  • Valid, unexpired driver's license required, with flexibility for occasional travel (
    Other Requirements:

    • Valid/Current TWIC card is mandatory.
    • Willingness to occasionally travel to off-site locations for project needs.
    • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
