<>Role - AWS Big Data Engineer<>Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)<>Introduction
As an AWS Big Data Engineer, you will be responsible for providing L1 support for AWS Big Data services such as Amazon EMR, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, and AWS Glue. You will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and incidents, monitoring system performance, deploying and configuring solutions, collaborating with support teams, and maintaining documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1 support for AWS Big Data services including Amazon EMR, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, and AWS Glue.
- Respond to customer inquiries and incidents via ticketing system, email, and phone.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of AWS Big Data solutions.
- Collaborate with L2 and L3 support teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain documentation of support processes, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on AWS services and best practices.
- Assist in the development and improvement of operational procedures and workflows.
