Position: Platform Services Engineer

Develop Platform primarily focused in the areas of embedded Infrastructure Services such – board bring up / bootup(iPXE) / commissioning, storage management, thermal management, etc.
Act as a technical leader, provide insight and technical direction to resolve issues, drive development processes, and help improve our processes and technologies for current and future applications.
Collaborate with the hardware engineering and architecture teams to drive hardware systems designs that meet software requirements and vice-versa.
Provide solutions using linux and some microcontroller RTOSs, storage / persistence layers, internal and peripheral devices management and application management that are all part of the embedded hardware installed on aircraft ranging from servers, seatback displays and network distribution equipment.
Work with a development team to break down the design into development tasks, implement some of the tasks, review that work delivered meets design specifications and help resolve any design issues or blockers with solutions that meet product requirements.
