Working successfully within a team, the Senior Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas:
  • Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
  • Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
  • Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
  • Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing

  • You will be in charge of Design for Manufacturing Test
  • Setting up test equipment
  • Improving test yield
  • Repairing test equipment
  • Setting up troubleshooting tools for the technicians
What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
