Position DescriptionPerforms a variety of moderately complex engineering duties to design, plan, and oversee the design and development of electric/electronic devices and systems applied to new or existing products . Evaluates progress and results of projects. Recommends changes in design, procedures or objectives as necessary.
Job Responsibilities - Designs and troubleshoots electrical/electronic assemblies and systems
- Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties
- Adheres to new product development processes as it relates to Concept Analysis, Business Case, product development, pre-production and post-launch steps
- Recommends methods of manufacturing during the design of new products,design modifications or process changes based on cost/design studies
- Acts as a liaison between other departments as necessary
- Recommends changes in design, procedures or objectives as necessary.
- Develops engineering test standards where applicable
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements - Broad knowledge and use of electrical/electronic control circuits and systems
- Broad understanding of electrical/electronic components and their uses in various power systems
- Knowledge of appropriate standards and regulations
- Knowledge of applicable technologies and/or products
- Well-developed communication skills to explain designs and logic used
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
EducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field
Experience Requirements - Three years of professional engineering experience
