Purpose:Our team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists are in the forefront of technology in the robotic surgery industry. As a key member of our group, you will be making vital contributions to the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline and improving patient care through innovation. You will work with NPD teams and Suppliers to develop robust tooling and manufacturing processes that meet or exceed all product requirements at the lowest possible manufacturing cost. This role provides an opportunity to bring exciting new products to market while also providing the opportunity for leadership and significant professional growth
You will be responsible for:- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to develop manufacturing processes and equipment
- Serve as technical owner for assigned process areas, managing NPD lifecycle activities such as DFA, process development, equipment design, and equipment manufacturing readiness.
- Plan, develop, and implement manufacturing equipment in accordance with GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements, including Computerized System Validation where applicable
- Deliver technical reports, technical memoranda, and other documents for internal and external distribution.
- Conduct research towards new product or process development or improvement of existing products or processes.
QualificationsEducation:- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or University degree is required.
Required:- Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering within a regulated industry (Medical Device or Pharmaceutical).
- Experience with CAD software (i.e. Solidworks)
- Working knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements.
- Analytical, structured, and proactive attitude with ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Able to work in a team based, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Operate independently and adaptability to changing requirements.
Preferred:- Application of GD&T and statistical analysis
- Experience in a medical device production environment or other regulated environment is preferred
- Experience with statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE).
- Understanding of change control as well as equipment and process validation (URS, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, CSV).
- Knowledge of automation systems, data analysis, and process troubleshooting.
- Process excellence Six Sigma knowledge is preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering materials and design for manufacturability.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :$76,000.00 - $121,900.00

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
