Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 4 Years of Experience in Snowflake Development

• 5 Years of Hands-on Experience with SQL in writing complex SQL queries and logic

• 4 Years of Hands-on Experience in using Talend (preferred), Informatica or any other ETL/ELT Tool

• Must have some working knowledge or understanding of Python, dbt (Data Build Tool)

• Must be a hands-on, self-driven, and independent engineer who can work with limited supervision, manage priorities effectively, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.

• Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling, database design principles, data warehousing concepts, and SQL/NoSQL technologies is highly desired.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, maintenance, documentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of existing data warehouse and ETL/ELT solutions.

• Develop new data pipelines, onboard additional data sources, implement transformations, document and improve overall data delivery processes.

• Monitor scheduled jobs, investigate failures, troubleshoot data issues, optimize processes, and implement sustainable fixes to support reliable operations.

• Experience with Shell scripting, Airflow, Git, CI/CD, and AWS or other cloud platforms, and consuming data from APIs, external data services are desirable.

• Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources is desirable.

• Perform basic to intermediate data modeling and database design activities as required.

• Perform detailed data analysis, ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, and compliance through quality control procedures and monitoring processes.

• Identify reusable components/AI/Automation opportunities and build them so that they can be reused by all the workstreams.

• Perform maintenance and upgrade releases of supported data systems, including periodic off-hours support as required.

• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and application teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions while following the architecture and development guidelines and principles.
