RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Billing Alternative Investment Analyst to join their team in New York This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
* Serves as a centralized point for the processing of all management fees across all CNR business segments and the bill payment for CNR clients
* Provides account balancing, transaction reconciliation and reporting
* Provides operational support for Alternative Investments and responds to all client, Financial Advisors, and CNR colleague inquiries and ensures problem resolution
* Manages all advisor movements from one BD/RIA, Custodian, or Platform to another
* Process management fees. Review fee schedules, calculate and debit client accounts and process payments to Financial Advisors
* Coordinate with custodians to debit client accounts and provide customized files and spreadsheets to expedite the processing
* Verify receipt of all management fee checks and entered into the billing system
* Deposit checks to house accounts and balance and reconcile accounts receivable reports
* Assist clients, Financial Advisors, and CNR colleague with billing inquiries. Research and resolve any issues
* Make billing adjustments and process exceptions. Communicate adjustments to appropriate parties and obtain supporting documents that approve requests for processing
* Prepare, send, and track Subscription Documents to clients. Monitor through internal database
* Perform due diligence to ensure clients are qualified to invest in a particular product. Review paperwork for completeness and appropriate signatures
* Set up data feeds for Financial Advisors, BD/RIAs, and audit firms
* Assist clients making Advisor updates and Financial Advisors undergoing BD/RIA, Custodian, or Platform changes
* Prepare, communicate, and process all documents required for Financial Advisor transitions
* Facilitate all Custodian Changes and Platform Changes to ensure they are completed in a timely manner by all appropriate teams involved
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED required
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Series 7 preferred
* 2 to 4 years of experience in financial services or a financial related industry
* 2+ years of experience in a financial related industry
* 2+ years of experience in using Microsoft Office applications
* Must possess good math skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, APX and internal proprietary systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Skill to manage multi priorities simultaneously
* Organizational skills are required
* Ability to handle problem situations with clients and colleagues effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
