Job Description

Lead and govern embedded software safety architecture for automotive systems from ASIL B to ASIL D. Define software safety concepts and requirements based on Functional Safety Concepts, Technical Safety Concepts, hardware safety assumptions, and semiconductor safety manuals. Develop safety architectures across AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, QNX, Safe Linux, and mixed-platform environments. Support safety analysis, verification, fault injection, robustness testing, structural coverage, and safety case contributions while working closely with System, ECU, Hardware, Software, and Functional Safety teams.

  • Embedded C/C++, real-time software, virtualization/hypervisors, and EGAS principles
  • ECU software architecture and cross-functional collaboration with System Architects, ECU Architects, Functional Safety, Hardware Architects, and Software Development teams
  • DOORS NG, Polarion, Jama, Jira, Git, and strong system-level technical leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in automotive embedded software architecture and Functional Safety.
  • Strong experience with ISO 26262 and ASIL B/C/D safety architectures.
  • Proven experience developing software safety concepts and safety mechanisms for automotive ECUs.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, MCU/SoC platforms, and safety-critical embedded software.
  • Strong experience in Software FMEA, FTA, failure analysis, and safety verification.
  • Proven technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration capability.
